Lindhorst, M.D.
Dr. Lindhorst is originally from Tucson, Arizona and received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the United States Air Force Academy. After serving as an officer in the Air Force Medical Service Corps, she elected to attend Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Upon graduation, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine and Residency training in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, Texas. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha academic honor society for medical schools, and served as Chief Resident of Ophthalmology during her senior year of residency. Dr. Lindhorst continues to have a position as clinical instructor at the Health Science Center. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the San Antonio Society of Ophthalmology, The American Medical Association, and the Bexar County Medical Association. She and her husband Chris have been married for 15 years and they have two children, Cole and Riley. “I truly enjoy the practice of Ophthalmology, and am committed to providing the highest quality and most advanced medical and surgical care to my patients.”. |
